Storyboard

Okay, the following is the begining of a storyboard I created for George. I would put up the rest, but my scanner's acting funky.
I also stole old Spumco storyboard sheets to do it.

Also, here's a few tries at getting George right. Some drawings I made up, others I copied. For example, Rex Hackleberg's awesome storyboard sketches at the bottom.

Hi Trevor,
Your expressions are good and clear. But make sure your set ups aren't too crowded. The lil' guy holding up the can and the can are crowded in frame.

Likewise with the George next to the stove is crowded, with an occasional tangent going on with the edge of the stove and G's arm.

His volumes and the stoves volumes are changing a lot as well. Thats not as important in the board stage. But it'll help if you control it early on. One less thing to screw up your final product.

Now I'm off to buy some lottery tickets. Don't know why that came to mind.

lol I have to admit, that last frame of the third storyboard made me crack up.

Funny thing is, Patrick, I laughed after I drew it. I almost never laugh at my own stuff. It doesn't really look like Geoge, but the dramatic change from him holding his heart and standing on his toes, to that expression, combined with a record scratch.... it just worked for me.

The thing I'm most worried about getting wrong is the expressions... and your and Vince's comments seem to indicate I'm doing something right.

Thanks for the kind words!
